MCLAREN’S CASCADE OF CHASSIS UPDATES CONTINUES
Although developing the troublesome Honda power unit has proved to be a tedious affair at best this year, the MCL32 chassis has received plenty of updates in the mean time. Thus, the front wing cascade has been reshaped (compare white arrows). The element’s primary role lies more in generating a flow aimed at pushing away the turbulence coming off the front wheels than in producing downforce.
