It was a weekend of struggles for Grosjean, who realized early on that he wouldn’t be able to do much with the Haas on the Hungaroring. Barely making it into Q2, he started from row seven with the help of Kvyat’s penalty. On Sunday, his race was ruined after contact from Hülkenberg. A slow puncture followed, which required him to return to the pits where a cross-threaded wheel nut brought his race to an early end.
