Baku - the last venue where he scored points - was a distant memory for Magnussen before Suzuka. But Kevin’s tenacity finally paid dividends. From P12 on the grid, he got away strong and was soon putting might pressure on Massa. Twenty laps were what it took to get around the Williams with an aggressive textbook pass. He collected four well-deserved points in what was perhaps his best drive of the season.
