Nico Rosberg - 2nd place, 18 points: 7.5/10
Rosberg settled quickly on Sunday and ended up taking his third consecutive pole position when Q3 was cancelled. Hamilton managed to get up the inside in to Turn 1 but Rosberg was targeting the grip on the outside of the corner which he couldn’t exploit as Hamilton nudged him wide. He looked after his intermediates better than his team-mate and pulled a good move at Turn 13 to get ahead before looking set for victory with 10 laps to go before he ran off track after getting too much wheelspin under acceleration. It proved a costly error after a strong race.
