Jenson Button - 6th place, 8 points: 8/10
Sunday provided Button with the sort of conditions he could thrive in, and he admits the early laps were an opportunity to do just that. As is often the cast, Button was the first to get the timing right for slick tyres and engaged in some strong wheel-to-wheel racing, holding his ground where sometimes he has been criticised for not being robust enough. That he complained about the McLaren’s pace despite finishing sixth says much about what a good drive he delivered.
