Sergio Perez - 5th place, 10 points: 8/10
Perez enters his home race in excellent form after following up a podium in Russia with an impressive fifth place. Starting from fifth, Perez ran at the head of the chasing pack behind the Mercedes and Red Bulls until the first round of pit stops when he dropped to ninth. Managed to keep out of trouble despite having lost track position as he followed Verstappen’s lead of running a long final stint - one lap longer than the Toro Rosso - and pulled some strong moves on the McLarens late on to recover to his high starting position.
