LOTUS – AGAINST ALL ODDS
Although Lotus’ financial struggles have been well documented, Enstone valiantly found some resources to tweak the floor of its E23 at Austin. As you can see on the comparison above, the aluminium vane sitting in front of the rear tyre has been elongated.
This technical gallery is a selection of the novelties introduced at COTA, and does not intend to be an exhaustive list. It shall for instance be mentioned that both Williams and Force India sampled a new front wing during the rain-disrupted USGP.
