Off the track, the Mexican driver was in delicate position of having to explain why he had to sue his squad. On the track, it wasn’t going much better. He struggled in qualifying, but got a decent start before the contact with Leclerc. From there it was no more than a case of having a slow race car. Let’s hope the summer break will let everyone involved in force India's quandary sort it all out.
