Esteban was just as frustrated as Checo this weekend. He was left with no chance of moving onto Q2 with a brake issue. He picked up quite a few positions on the opening lap of the race, but struggled to advance further on a track unsuited to his car. As the team’s future becomes more and more uncertain, no one will blame him for picking up the phone if/when Renault calls.
