F1i's Driver Ratings for the 2023 United States GP

Fernando Alonso (Sprint P13, GP DNF - Lap 50): 5.5/10
Without doubt, Fernando Alonso's worst weekend of the year since he joined Aston Martin. The new floor upgrade backfired on the team on the Friday causing him to fail to progress from Q1 for the first time. He fared slightly better in the Sprint Showdown but lost three places on the first lap of the Sprint and disappeared from view thereafter. The team opted to revert him to the old floor on Sunday at the cost of a pit lane start, which improved his pace -until an issue with the floor forced him to retire in the closing laps.

Daniel Ricciardo (Sprint P12, GP P15): 5/10
It was good to have Daniel Ricciardo back in harness this weekend after four races out of the car because of his broken hand. He admitted to some 'race rust' upon his return, but he was consistently close to or even ahead of his AlphaTauri team mate Yuki Tsunoda on Friday and Saturday. He was trying a one-stop strategy on Sunday but the hard tyres didn't work and a late extra stop for softs left him right at the back. Hopefully everyone's favourite Aussie cowboy be more like his old self next week in Mexico.
