F1i Driver Ratings for the 2025 Spanish GP

Esteban Ocon, Haas (P16): 4/10

Much like Bearman, Ocon had no opportunity to finish in the top ten in Spain due to the performance deficit of the VF-25. A split strategy worked out better for the Frenchman than it did for Bearman however, allowing him to finish ahead of his teammate in the Grand Prix.

Franco Colapinto, Alpine (P15): 3/10

Colapinto will be sweating bullets by now, as he has failed to live up to the expectations placed on him as Doohan’s replacement and already being halfway through his five-race contract with Alpine. An unfortunate mechanical problem knocked the Argentine out in Q1, and the race itself saw Colapinto display a lack of pace compared to his teammate Gasly. A telling moment was when the youngster found himself at the foot of the field, despite only pitting once when many other drivers around him had come in for fresh rubber twice already.
