Arvid Lindblad, Racing Bulls (8th, +1 lap) – 8/10
The only rookie on the grid drove like he’d been there for a decade. Calm under pressure and tidy in his racecraft during his fantastic opening laps, he delivered a points finish in his very first Grand Prix. The kid clearly didn’t read the memo about rookies being nervous in Melbourne.
Ollie Bearman, Haas (7th, +1 lap) – 8/10
Another excellent outing from Ollie Bearman, who continues to punch above the Haas’ weight. He raced aggressively but intelligently, defended well and grabbed a result that will feel like a small victory for the team. The youngster is making a habit of these eye-catching drives.
