Mercedes has also slightly tweaked the tip of the W07 nosecone, which is now pointier. As for the sidepod inlets, their shape is more triangular and less curved. Their smaller dimensions means they can be further undercut in a bid to optimise airflow circulation along the car. Last but not least, the ‘monkey seat’, which has been on the W07 since the season-opening grand prix, now comprises three elements instead of two.
