Esteban Ocon, Haas – 4/10
This was Ocon’s race to lose among the midfield contenders, and he did so with gusto. Briefly running in the top three due to a bold Safety Car strategy, he threw it all away with a "costly error" trying to pass Colapinto. Ruining a potential double-points haul for Haas while his teammate bagged P5 has left him with a massive 17-0 points deficit.
Valtteri Bottas, Cadillac – 4/10
Bottas survived the early-race "friendly fire" from Perez to finish P13, serving as Cadillac sole data-gathering man. He was a lap down and mostly invisible, but he was at least the quicker of the two Cadillacs. At this early stage, finishing the race is the only metric of success for the American outfit.
