F1i Driver Ratings for the 2026 Chinese Grand Prix

Isack Hadjar, Red Bull – 6/10

Hadjar survived the carnage to finish P8, outlasting his teammate and avoiding the electrical gremlins that plagued the other Red Bull. He could have finished higher but for a self-induced pirouette on the opening lap while fighting Bearman. He wasn't particularly quick, but in a race of high attrition, keeping the car on track was a win.

Liam Lawson, RB – 8/10

Lawson is the definition of a steady hand so far this season. Despite a car that was "pretty average on pace," he salvaged P7. He was clinical in the midfield battles and took full advantage of the chaos ahead. He is quietly cementing his F1 future with every professional drive like this.
