Franco Colapinto, Alpine – 6/10
It wasn't pretty, and he got spun around by Ocon, but Colapinto finally ended a 24-race drought to bag a point. He lacked the pace to clear Sainz’s much slower Williams at the end, which highlighted his current struggles, but a point is a point.

Carlos Sainz, Williams – 8/10
A masterclass in "defending a fortress." Driving a Williams that is horrendously overweight, Sainz managed a brilliant P9 through a marathon second stint on hard tyres. He avoided making any mistakes and held off a much faster Alpine through his skill and racecraft. Well done Carlito!
