F1i 2015 season preview

Motor Racing - Formula One Testing - Test Three - Day 1 - Barcelona, Spain

Williams

Williams has quietly gone about its business in pre-season and slowly started to show its pace as the winter went on. Having hidden its hand early on, the final test saw it set the quickest headline times behind the two Mercedes drivers and the long run pace was also encouraging.

The car has clearly progressed and one of Williams’ biggest strengths will be the continuity it enjoys from 2014. The team will have learned a lot last year, often having the second quickest car but being cautious by its own admission when chasing results. This year it will take more risks, and building on a strong year should see it best of the rest.
