Checo couldn’t mask his frustration after missing Q1 by a few thousands of a second. Like often, he was clearly much stronger in the Grand Prix, where he got the better of the STRs and kept them in his mirrors for nearly 40 laps. Pérez brought his new pink machine to seventh place, which is as good as it gets for the time being.
