Struggling to get his DRS to work in qualifying, the Aussie was once again off the pace of his team mate. It would be the same in the race where he too sparred with Räikkönen. Fifth following Verstappen’s retirement, he managed to close ground to Bottas but the lack of oomph from the Renault power unit inhibited from trying anything.
