With a car, according to some, a second slower than the Mercs and Ferraris on the straights, Max being a factor was a task too far. But that didn’t stop last week’s winner from giving Kimi all he wanted and then some early in the going. It was shaping up to be a P5 result for the RBR ace when the brake pedal went flat to the floor late in the race.
