Lewis was clearly shaking after claiming his record-setting sixth British Grand Prix pole position against Vettel's furious war horse. But Lewis suffered excess wheel-spin at the start before being punted by Kimi at turn 3 and plummeting down the order. Powered on by rage and helped by two safety car periods, the Mercedes star pushed despite the dreadful condition of his tyres, dropping just 7 points to championship rival Vettel.
