16. Felipe Massa - 7.06/10
We’re somewhat surprised to see Massa so low in the final scores after a year in which he pushed Valtteri Bottas closer than 2014, but in part that is down to Massa’s tendency to have more below average weekends than his team-mate. Started the season in good form and was more competitive in qualifying across the year, closing a head-to-head deficit of 13-6 in 2014 to 11-8 this year.
However, while the Williams was not as competitive as it had been in 2014, Massa was still not quite as much of a threat as his team-mate during the year. Still picked up two good podium results during the season - doing well to hold off Sebastian Vettel in Austria - before his year tailed off in part down to collisions and in part as a result of Williams turning its attentions to 2016.
