Gabriel Bortoleto, Kick Sauber (Retired, lap 31) 6/10
The third Virtual Safety Car of the Grand Prix was brought out due to the retirement of Bortoleto. He had been complaining of a failing engine in his Kick Sauber for a number of laps, until it eventually gave up on lap 31 of 57. It was a shame for the Brazilian, as he impressed by qualifying one of the slowest cars onto P13 on the grid, ahead of experienced teammate Hulkenberg.

Liam Lawson, Racing Bulls (Retired, lap 37) 3/10
Yet another disappointing race weekend for Lawson in Miami. Despite climbing up the running order in impressive fashion during the sprint and finishing in a points-paying position on the road, the New Zealander had punted the Aston Martin of Alonso out of the race earlier and received a five-second penalty as a result, dropping him out of the top eight. His Grand Prix was over before it really started, as damage sustained in a Turn 1 lap one incident with Doohan compromised his VCARB 02 eventually resulting in retirement on lap 37.
