F1i Driver Ratings for the 2025 Miami GP

Andrea Kimi Antonelli, Mercedes (P6) 7/10

Antonelli became the youngest ever polesitter in any Formula 1 event by placing his W16 on pole position for the Miami sprint. It was an unbelievably clean and precise lap, a sign of what’s to come for the rookie teenager. The sprint itself didn’t quite pan out as hoped for him, as he lost three positions by trying to hang it around the outside of Piastri into the first corner, an unwise decision. He was lucky to score points after colliding with Verstappen in the pits later on, though that was far from his fault. The Grand Prix was mediocre to say the least, as he was slower than the Williams of Albon and way off teammate Russell, but sixth is still a decent haul of points regardless.

Alexander Albon, Williams (P5) 9/10

What a weekend for Albon. He had a double-points finish cruelly taken away after receiving a five-second penalty for a Safety Car infringement in the sprint after crossing the line in fourth. But his pace was undeniable in the Williams, capped off with a sensational move on Antonelli into the first corner on lap 31 to claim fifth and ten valuable points for himself and the team.
