Yuki Tsunoda, Red Bull (P10) 6/10
Tsunoda turned it around after a disappointing sprint qualifying, making the right strategy calls and keeping his RB21 pointing the right way to finish sixth from a pit lane start. The main race was an uneventful one for the Japanese driver, but he did well to hang on to tenth from a charging Hadjar after receiving a five-second penalty for speeding in the pits.

Carlos Sainz Jr., Williams (P9) 4/10
It’s crazy to think that we’re giving a driver of a Williams a poor rating despite scoring points, such are the drastic improvements the team has made in recent years. But there’s no denying that it was a clumsy race weekend for Sainz all round. Two mistakes stood out, first of all his crash and subsequent retirement in the sprint race, which was all of his own doing. Sainz was quicker than both Ferrari cars in the Grand Prix, but a slow reaction to the end of the third Virtual Safety Car resulted in him losing out to both Leclerc and Hamilton. He almost made one back on Hamilton at the very last braking zone on the final lap, made contact with the Ferrari but still couldn’t barge his way past.
