Lance Stroll, Aston Martin (P16) 5/10
Ever the master of wet conditions, Stroll kept out of harm’s way and managed to avoid the many penalties incurred by those around him to finish fifth in Saturday’s sprint race. This was far from representative of his and Aston Martin’s pace however, as the AMR25 had absolutely zero pace around the Miami International Autodrome and Stroll ended up last of the finishers in the Grand Prix.

Fernando Alonso, Aston Martin (P15) 3/10
Alonso was certainly right in saying that Aston Martin were “bottom of the list” in Miami, as he and teammate Stroll finished last of the remaining runners in the Grand Prix. But the veteran Spaniard found himself facing the wrong way in both races. His crash on lap 14 of the sprint wasn’t his fault, as he was spun into the barriers by an overly aggressive Lawson, but his slow-speed pirouette on lap 9 of the main race was definitely of his own doing. Alonso needs to keep his nose clean in future races, unless he wants to embarrass himself by finishing behind Stroll in the Drivers’ Standings.
