A very strong weekend overall from Hulkenberg, who kept Raikkonen honest in the fight for sixth. An impressive qualifying lap saw him start from fifth and Hulkenberg ran fourth for the opening stint. One-stopping meant he was ahead of Raikkonen late in the race as the Ferrari attacked on new medium tyres, and Hulkenberg struggled to defend on old rubber at Turn 4, pitching his car into a spin to avoid contact. That such an incident came with just five laps remaining and with a comfortable advantage over the Williams pair behind shows how well he performed.
