Fernando Alonso - 13th place - 7/10
Alonso's race wasn't helped by a lack of progress at the start, which was hampered by a close call with Carlos Sainz on the run to Turn 4 which saw the Toro Rosso penalised for forcing the McLaren off track. Opted for a two-stop but his second pit stop was slow and left him 19th with 25 laps to go but he recovered to 13 on fresh rubber even if the points were a long way out of reach.
