EXPANSION POLICY
At the back of the SF70H, Ferrari has added an extra element to the carbon rear crash structure, which sports a more sloped outline than on the W08.
What for? To guide the exhaust gasses upward so they can contribute towards expanding the air coming out of the diffuser. In other words, the device serves the same purpose as the monkey seat, albeit on a smaller scale.
