Sergio Perez - 9th place, 2 points - 8/10
Finally some points on the board for Perez and he secured them with a strong recovery drive. Starting from sixth should have been the platform for a better result but Perez was caught up in the drama at the start and had to limp to the pits with a puncture. The safety car at least kept him in touch with the pack but he had to effectively one-stop from that point from the back of the field and he rose as high as sixth before pitting on lap 27 and rejoining down in 13th. Passed Carlos Sainz on track and made further progress as others pit but he was then kept at bay by Grosjean in the final laps.
