Lance Stroll, Aston Martin (P14) 3/10
We really need to rack our brain to remember anything about Stroll’s weekend; it’s almost impressive how the Canadian is able to fly under the radar and achieve absolutely nothing of note week in, week out. All we can recall is the #18 Aston Martin going backwards at all times during the race, getting overtaken left, right and centre by those around him. Apart from that, Stroll has made turning invisible on track into an art form, such is the ease with which his competitors are able to pass him.

Pierre Gasly, Alpine (P13) 5/10
A spin on his final flying lap compromised Gasly’s Q3 performance, but he did well to start in the top ten regardless. Starting on used softs was an interesting strategic choice by him and Alpine, but it initially worked out as the Frenchman gained a number of positions up to sixth on the opening lap. After pitting for fresh rubber, damage somewhere on his car compromised the rest of his afternoon, dropping out of points contention and finishing well outside the top half.
