F1i Driver Ratings for the 2025 British GP

Gabriel Bortoleto, Kick Sauber (Retired, lap 4) 3/10

After a strong showing in Austria, Bortoleto reminded us that he is still very much a rookie with his crash at Silverstone. The Brazilian opted to gamble on slick tyres on a damp track, which didn’t work out as he lost control of his Kick Sauber through Turn 2 and clattered the barriers. He tried to hobble back to the pits but his rear wing was too damaged to continue, bringing out a second Virtual Safety Car.

Isack Hadjar, Racing Bulls (Retired, lap 18) 4/10

Hadjar displayed solid pace in his VCARB 02 in the opening phases of the Grand Prix, running in the fringes of the top ten. But the Frenchman’s lack of experience reared its ugly head when he clattered blindly into the rear of Antonelli’s Mercedes in torrential conditions, spinning out of control and destroying his car in the barriers.
