Liam Lawson, Racing Bulls (P12) 6/10
Lawson was keen to hit back at Sainz’ anger, stating that he drove well within the racing rules. Anyway, the Kiwi driver’s race was also ruined by the unfortunate incident, as he was running comfortably in eighth position until his clash with the Williams. An even larger shame considering where his teammate finished in the Grand Prix.

Franco Colapinto, Alpine (P11) 5/10
This was perhaps Colapinto’s best race of the season, and the fact that he still didn’t score points is saying something. The highlight of the Argentine’s race was his overtake on his teammate at the start of lap six, although he was on the faster soft tyre. He was eventually asked to swap positions with Gasly as his tyres began to drop off, and from then on the Alpine driver languished on the fringes of the points without ever threatening to break in.
