F1i Driver Ratings for the 2025 Dutch Grand Prix

Esteban Ocon, Haas (P10) 6/10

Haas tried something different with their drivers, starting both on the long lasting hard tyre. It looked unlikely to work initially until a late Safety Car allowed them to pit without losing as many positions on track. In Ocon’s case, he was able to maintain a place just inside the top ten when points looked impossible just a handful of laps away from the chequered flag. Sometimes you need a bit of luck.

Yuki Tsunoda, Red Bull (P9) 7/10

Finally some points for Tsunoda, who finished inside the top ten for the first time since the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix over three months ago. A solid turn of pace is what allowed the Japanese driver to sneak into the points, as at one point he fell to as low as 15th after the poor timing of the first Safety Car. Without the unfortunate strategy decisions that seem to be plaguing Tsunoda in recent races, he could be finishing a lot higher up the order.
