Pierre Gasly, Alpine (P16) 4/10
Not even Gasly could muscle the snail-like Alpine A525 anywhere near the points at Monza. Like Stroll, the Frenchman did try to hang it out for a late Safety Car which didn’t materialise. He just signed a contract extension with the French outfit a few days ago, fingers crossed the team will improve and he won’t be left regretting his decision.

Esteban Ocon, Haas (P15) 4/10
Ocon was the third and final driver on this list to attempt the late Safety Car pit hack, and thus points were always going to be an impossibility when all remaining drivers kept to the tarmac in the second half of the race. The Haas driver also received a five second penalty for pushing Stroll into the grass at the Variante della Roggia, which was warranted.

Liam Lawson, Racing Bulls (P14) 5/10
The only driver to start on the soft compound tyre, Lawson was completely out of sync with the rest of the field. The Kiwi started the Grand Prix well, making full use of his faster rubber to climb three positions on the opening lap. Soon enough he was in the pits for a set of durable hard tyres, which he clung onto for the rest of the race. It was too tall of an order for Lawson in the end, who fell to 14th at the chequered flag.
