FW16 - 16b (1994)
The FW16 will be forever remembered as the car i which Senna perished at Imola. Stripped of its electronic aides that saw his predecessor steamroll the competition, it proved to be very delicate to drive from the start. Senna still managed to take three poles in a row before that tragic May 1st, and Hill went on to take two victories. With a shortened wheelbase and reworked aero downforce, the FW16 scored five wins, including a final for the returning Mansell in Australia, where it lost out in the title chase against Benetton and Schumi in the incident with Hill that eliminated both.
