Brendon Hartley (P17) : 5/10
It’s looking less likely that Brendon will be back in 2019, but in Q1 he was only 0.2s behind Gasly, which however, was the difference from moving on to the next round or calling it a night. In the race, he came in early to switch to the ultras and found himself ahead of the future RBR driver, but he couldn’t maintain the pace and got caught up in the traffic jam. His second stop dropped him behind Sirotkin and there wasn’t much of anything the Kiwi could do.
