Discarding his smack with the wall on Friday, Sebastian pretty much did his best all weekend. His impressive performance in FP3 was washed away by Hamilton's mesmerizing effort in qualifying, the German also conceding a spot to Verstappen. On Sunday, he did well to get past Max on the first lap, but the RBR driver later exited the pits ahead of him. Ferrari had rolled the dice for Vettel with an early undercut strategy and ultra-soft rubber to boot. Forced to nurse he tyres to the finish, the four-time world champion had no performance advantage to speak of.
