F1i's Driver Ratings for the 2018 Abu Dhabi GP

Pierre Gasly (Retired): 7/10
It was a weekend of engine woes for Pierre Gasly, which is not what Red Bull will want to hear ahead of their own switch to Honda power next season. Gasly suffered an engine cut-out during qualifying and started Sunday's race down in 17th place, but he made up four places on the opening lap alone and then advanced deep into the top ten by the time he made his pit stop. He looked on course to pick up a final point for Toro Rosso, but then the back of his car started to spew oil all over the track behind him - and also over Max Verstappen, who was coming up to lap him at the time. Moments later Gasly's stricken STR13 was parked by the roadside and he was walking back to pit lane, his thoughts probably already focussed on his elevation to the senior team next season.
