F1i's Driver Ratings for the 2018 Abu Dhabi GP

Sergey Sirotkin (P15): 5.5/10
It was a pretty lousy weekend for Sergey Sirotkin, who had to keep his head down while all the buzz in the paddock was about Robert Kubica taking his seat at Williams in 2019. The Russian rookie could at least take a small crumb of comfort in out-qualifying his team mate on Saturday, but there was little consolation in the race itself where he had to cope with overheating issues on the FW41 for a third of the race which meant he had to spend much of his time cooling off. He described the whole experience as "a painful race, such a painful stint" as he went on to once again finish last of those still running when the chequered flag came out. There's little positive one can say about his final outing (for now) in Formula 1, but we hope he gets a second chance to show what he can do in a decent car after all this year's traumas at Grove.
