F1i Driver Ratings for the 2025 Canadian GP

Gabriel Bortoleto, Kick Sauber (P14): 5/10

While Hulkenberg is revelling in delight with two big points hauls in the last couple of Grands Prix, Bortoleto hasn’t been quite as fast or quite as lucky as his more experienced teammate. He’s not too far behind Hulkenberg on pace, but just enough to fall out of the top ten by the end of races. Canada was a quiet one for the Brazilian, who’s only moment of fame was heading a train of seven cars in the second half of the Grand Prix.

Franco Colapinto, Alpine (P13): 6/10

Colapinto has one race left in his five-race contract with Alpine, and will have to turn more heads than he has up to this point in Austria to warrant a renewal from Alpine boss Flavio Briatore. But Canada was a step up in relative performance from the Argentine, who outqualified his more experienced teammate and was in the top ten in the opening phases of the race. But points once again eluded Colapinto, and zero points in the Standings is still not a good look by any stretch of the imagination.
