Carlos Sainz Jr., Williams (P14) 4/10
It was a similar story for Sainz, who never looked likely to cross the line inside the top ten places. The Spaniard fared a little better than his Williams teammate, briefly finding himself in tenth position and overtaking a few cars in the closing stages on fast medium rubber. But it was too little too late in the end.

Nico Hulkenberg, Kick Sauber (P13) 4/10
That’s two races in a row where Hulkenberg has been thoroughly outclassed by his more inexperienced teammate. It was rather self-inflicted for the veteran German in Hungary, who was half a second adrift of Bortoleto in qualifying and then received a five second penalty for a false start. He then spent the rest of the race bogged down in the lower end of the midfield, unable to get out of a DRS train.
