TAMING THE HEAT
Ferrari added a pair of flaps on the ends of the SF70H’s engine cover. The Baku City Circuit is quite demanding for the V6-turbocharged power units, especially on the immense 2km main straight where engine temperatures are bound to rise. The flaps help vent the hot air out of the engine cover by creating a low-pressure zone above the area where the hot air comes out (which means the hot air is sucked outside more quickly).
