F1i Driver Ratings for the 2025 Belgian Grand Prix

Lance Stroll, Aston Martin (P14): 5/10

It was a tale of two halves for Stroll, whose performance picked up more and more as the race went on. It started terribly for the Canadian, who fell from 16th to plum last in the opening ten laps on pure pace. After switching to slick tyres however he suddenly improved, passing Hadjar with ease and swooping around the outside of Colapinto at Turn 5 on lap 22. Strange for a driver who usually excels in the wet.

Yuki Tsunoda, Red Bull (P13): 4/10

Tsunoda looks way happier at Red Bull following the departure of Christian Horner and the arrival of Laurent Mekies as Team Principal. This translated into the Japanese driver’s best qualifying result for the Milton Keynes-based outfit with P7, which he maintained in the first part of the Grand Prix. However, a poor decision to stay out longer than most on the intermediate tyres ultimately cost Tsunoda a finish inside the top ten, as he lost several places after his pitstop and was stuck in a train of slow cars for the rest of the race.
