F1i Driver Ratings for the 2025 Belgian Grand Prix

Alexander Albon, Williams (P6): 8/10

A scintillating qualifying drive was the key to Albon’s success on Sunday. He lost fifth place to Russell early on, but put in consistent laps behind the wheel and made the right strategy call to maintain sixth position ahead of a charging Hamilton. The rest of the race was a defensive one for the Williams driver, and great straight line speed from his FW47 helped keep the scarlet red Ferrari at bay.

George Russell, Mercedes (P5): 7/10

Russell described the Belgian Grand Prix as the worst of the season so far in terms of pace. He’s probably right, considering the Mercedes driver was nowhere near challenging the four cars ahead of him during the race. The Briton did briefly challenge Verstappen for fourth, but a move never looked likely to materialise. Despite the car struggles he did pretty well; in the end it was a lonely but fruitful race nonetheless.
