Sergio Perez - 3rd place, 15 points - 9/10
Another top drawer performance from Perez who has a knack of coming alive when there is a podium up for grabs and more often than not takes the opportunity in midfield machinery. In conjunction with his team made the right call to run longer at the start of the race before taking on intermediates, jumping ahead of a number of cars including his own team-mate, and an early switch to soft tyres allowed him to get ahead of Sebastian Vettel. Even started trying to put pressure on the leaders as a win looked possible, but a pair of Virtual Safety Car periods allowed the front two to look after their tyres. Always had the measure of Vettel, though.
