Nico Hulkenberg - 8th place, 4 points - 7/10
Another good start from Hulkenberg but he lost out to Button on the opening lap as he attempted to avoid the Vettel and Rosberg mess. In a sign of how much the McLaren has improved, Hulkenberg was then stuck behind the 2009 world champion for 42 laps before his three-stop strategy was helped by the final VSC which saw him gain on Button and jump him for eighth place. Ultimately, it should have been easier for a Mercedes-powered Force India to overtake the McLaren, especially with two consecutive DRS zones.
