Nico Hulkenberg - 4th place, 12 points - 9/10
For a spell it looked like Hulkenberg was going to get his first podium, running second in the opening six laps and only losing one position when pitting under the safety car. As the only driver in the top five to have stopped Hulkenberg was sitting pretty, but the red flag allowed the others a free stop and meant Hamilton was able to pass him with ease to secure third. Fourth equals Hulkenberg’s best result in F1, and is the first time he has achieved it since Korea 2013. Surely a podium will come his way soon, perhaps this season such is Force India’s competitiveness now.
