The despair was easy for all to see after the Honey Badger’s 7th DNF of the season. On a day where he could’ve done shined, Daniel suffered yet another setback. On row two thanks to Vettel’s penalty – a position he hadn't enjoyed since taking pole at Monaco - he would have been a strong bet for a podium finish given how the day played out. But a battery issue took care of that. A fresh start next year with Renault will hopefully do him good, but in the interim he'll likely have a few words with his future employer.
