Stoffel Vandoorne (P11): 6/10
The soon-to-be Formula E driver came quite close to scoring a rare point in Texas. After another Saturday afternoon to forget, Vandoorne benefited from others penalties on the grid and found himself P13 at the end of lap one, despite being hit from all sides. He had a respectable race pace and was ahead of Hartley and Ericsson when he switched to a two stop strategy. He closed up to the Sauber, but could not mount a serious threat.
